Is PMU painful? +
A topical numbing cream is applied before every session to minimize discomfort. Most clients describe it as mild scratching sensation. Pain tolerance varies, but our clients generally find it very manageable.
How long does PMU last? +
PMU typically lasts 1–3 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Oily skin tends to fade faster. Annual touch-up sessions are recommended to keep the colour fresh.
What is the healing process like? +
The treated area will appear slightly darker and may flake for 7–14 days. The true final result is visible after 4–6 weeks once the skin fully heals. A follow-up touch-up session after 6–8 weeks is included.
Who should avoid PMU? +
PMU is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, people on blood thinners, those with certain skin conditions, or anyone under 18. A consultation is required before booking.
Do I need to prepare for my PMU appointment? +
Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before. Do not take blood thinners or aspirin. Come with your natural brows/lips — do not pre-shape or wax. Wear comfortable clothes and come makeup-free to your appointment.
